I remember it’s freezing at that time, we have a cup of mango tea in Sohyan’s white studio and workshop, sharing our views in fashion, art and things happen in Seoul and HK. This time, we are glad to invite her to share her own experience in building her own brand, Post December in Seoul with us!

Where did the name Post December come from?
it came from the idea of ”13th month”. not exist but in dream or memory.

I am always amazed that how people can turn thread into fabric, and then into garments — by using their own hands. They seems to have everything in their mind and they are just like a composer conducting the thread together for a symphony, making it as an art performance. I would love to share some of our favourite knitwear brands/designers.
1) Sandra Backland, based in Stockholm, Sweden

Sandra Backland, a Swedish master knitwear designer, featuring in a lot of fashion magazines. Those crazy building blocks of knits, those nodding to skeletal forms and crocheted pants, Sandra is clearly a designer that likes to take artistic risks, and the results are spectacular. She was also commissioned to produce knits for the collections of both LV and Emilio Pucci.
